Final Two Chicago Energy Benchmarking Trainings

Non-residential buildings over 250,000 square feet must benchmark their energy use and comply with the Chicago Energy Benchmarking ordinance by June 1, 2014. The ordinance raises awareness of energy performance through information and transparency, with the goal of unlocking energy and cost savings opportunities for businesses and residents. Benchmarking 101: Introduction to the Ordinance

This one-hour session covers energy benchmarking background and policy goals, explains Chicago ordinance requirements and how to comply, and shares free resources and assistance on compliance.

Benchmarking 201: Using Portfolio Manager and Data Collection

This two-hour class provides detailed instruction on how to create an EPA ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account and use the tool to comply with the Chicago Energy Benchmarking ordinance.
