As more regions commit to climate goals, significant carbon reduction in buildings is essential. We make high performance buildings easier to achieve by providing support services for building owners who are interested in energy efficiency, water efficiency, and solar. We work with partners to provide these services nationally.
Efficiency Navigator (Wisconsin)
Elevate works with Sustain Dane in Dane County to help small- to medium-size affordable multi-family housing become more efficient and resilient while reducing operating costs. The Efficiency Navigator provides building owners with:
- Building assessments to identify energy, water, and solar opportunities
- Three-year implementation roadmap to help owners navigate the timely implementation of the identified efficiency measures
- Step-by-step technical support to navigate efficiency programs, incentives, and contractors
This program is eligible to renter-occupied buildings with rents affordable to residents at or below 80% AMI. The building must not part of an affordable housing subsidy program. This housing stock is known as naturally occurring affordable housing.

Building Energy Exchange (Kansas City)
Elevate works with Climate Action KC in Kansas City help building owners, operators, and community members drive greater energy efficiency in the built environment.
The Kansas City Building Energy Exchange grows the high performance buildings ecosystem of the Greater Kansas City Region through education and program implementation of best-practice programs. The BE-Ex is part of a national network of initiatives to grow the adoption of high performance buildings practices, programs, and policies.
Our goal is to provide access to opportunity for all residents and building owners to realize the benefits of efficient, clean energy and water wherever they live and work.
