Energy Efficiency Financing Options for Owners of One to Four Unit Buildings
Elevate Energy is happy to be teaming up with Chicago Community Loan Fund (CCLF), a leading affordable housing lender throughout metropolitan Chicago, to make investing in energy efficiency more accessible to owners of one to four unit buildings. For-profit and nonprofit developers who own one to four unit residential buildings within the six-county Chicago metropolitan region are eligible for an Energy Efficiency Loan Option, which is offered through the recent partnership with CCLF.
This loan option offers a low interest rate (5 to 7 percent) on construction and mini-permanent loans, along with flexibility on loan-to-value and loan-to-cost financing. Building owners who make use of this financing option will receive free energy efficiency services and expert advice from Elevate Energy. We’ll also provide guidance throughout the entire upgrade process, from identifying the most cost-effective energy investments to doing all the footwork for the best financial package, overseeing construction, and verifying the quality of the work.
