Have you heard us talk about high performance homes? These unique homes feature lower energy costs, greater comfort, and other benefits.
And they’re growing in inventory. In 2001, there were nearly zero such high performance homes. Today, more than 8,500 homes in Illinois are green certified homes.
Bottom line: Given the current landscape and the success of energy efficiency programs, even more high performance homes will be available for resale soon.
We want to help Realtors like you understand and tap into this “green” potential. So, we’re partnering with the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe) to offer a free quarterly webinar series on the intersection between energy efficiency and real estate.
